MARKETING RESEARCH
Wriston Jones has thirty-one years combined experience in marketing,
research, advertising, public relations and sales. In Los Angeles,
at Motown Record Corporation she served as creative director
for that national entertainment firm gaining experience in advertising
and promotion, including print, radio and television media.
At Filmways Pictures/Orion Pictures and Seiniger Advertising
Group, she acquired experience in film production, as well as,
promotion.
As a marketing research professional, Wriston has created and
implemented research projects for such diverse companies as
AFC Enterprises, Inc., Bank of America, Birkenstock, Inc., Equifax,
Ernst & Young, Fleishman Hillard, J&H Marsh McLennan,
Motorola, National Service Industries, Skytel, The National
Football League, and Turner Communications.
Wriston demonstrates effectiveness in strategic marketing development
from idea conceptualization to operations implementation as
illustrated by the following examples:
o Research & Analysis, Bank of America, Corporate Headquarters:
Tested financial product concepts via focus groups to determine
product potential and purchasing trends. This research assisted
the bank in confidently directing its product development to
the most effective areas.
o Lead Generation & Development, Arthur Andersen & Co:
Within an eleven-month period, generated $1,000,000+ in new
business from untapped sources. Over a ten year period, acted
as marketing research resource for all business units within
the company, including appraisal & valuation, healthcare,
sales & use tax, property tax, real estate, master resort
communities, construction/architecture, legal, insurance, high
tech, and international marketing.
o Future-Casting, Major Insurance Carrier: In a first of it's
kind study, approached randomly selected municipalities nationally
in four population ranges and interviewed their representatives
to obtain information on their liability claims process. This
research assisted the insurance carrier in positioning itself
for new market territories.
